LEADERSHIP A journey into trucking. TOMMY HODGES | CHAIRMAN Tommy Hodges knows what it's like to "sit in the driver's seat" when it comes to warehousing and trucking. With a humble start to his career in 1965, his "journey" into trucking began on a Dock at Tennessee Carolina Transportation (TCT) as a driver. After two years of military service in Vietnam, it was right back to the trucking industry with a management position with TCT as a dock supervisor/dispatcher. In 1976, a company change was made and Hodges transitioned to Spector Freight Systems as a salesman. Since then, Hodges has subsequently held various positions in the transportation industry over the years, from sales manager, terminal manager, all the way to Vice President of Sales, President, and finally Owner. He has worked in the industry virtually all of his working life, and to this day does it because he loves it. He stays very involved in the trucking industry through several professional organizations. He has served as Chairman of the Tennessee Trucking Association with two separate terms and currently services as the President of the Tennessee Trucking Foundation. In addition, he has served as Chairman of the American Trucking Association, Chairman of the Chairman's Membership Sub-committee, and Past Chairman of the Small Carrier Committee. He also serves on the executive committee of Southern Motor Carriers (SMC3) in Atlanta, GA.In the community, Hodges is a former Chairman of the Tennessee Children's Home in Spring Hill, TN. Business interests include, Chairman of Goggin Warehousing LLC; Chairman of Titan Transfer, Inc.; Chairman of HEC Leasing, Inc; Chairman of IWLAIC Insurance Company (Group Captive Insurance Company), Chairman of Titan Transfer Logistics, Inc.: Chairman of S/M Transportation and Warehousing, Inc. --> PHILLIP EDWARDS | PRESIDENT Phillip Edwards has been involved in transportation for over 25 years. Phillip started his career in trucking by loading trucks while working for an LTL company. After graduating from MTSU in the fall of 1992 with a degree in Finance, he began working at Goggin Truck Lines in Shelbyville, TN. Since that time, Phillip has held many different positions including Terminal Manager, Sales, and Regional Vice President. In 2001, Phillip joined Titan Transfer and has served as President of the organization since that time. All of Phillip's professional life has been dedicated to the trucking industry. Phillip has served on many committees and continues to be heavily involved in his community

Majority of 389s that roll out of Peterbilt's Denton, Texas, assembly plant. Peterbilt will also make available a Special Edition Legendary Package Model 589, which features special design and trim accents throughout, highlighting the company's 84 year history, including vintage script Peterbilt logo and spears on the hood, polished fenders and bright rockers, and stitching on the seats. Skoog said Peterbilt originally intended to make the Legendary Package available just for the initial launch of 589 but elected to extend it into the foreseeable future, adding he believes the Legendary model would likely emerge as the spec of choice for most customers and outsell the standard Model 589. The first 589 Model 589s, regardless of spec, to roll off the assembly line will be numbered sequentially from 1 to 589 and will receive a special numbered plate inside.
