In 2007, I was held hostage for over two hours in what was promised to be a 30–45-minute presentation, using high-pressure tactics to coerce me, a single mother, into purchasing more than my original 5,000 points for $15,000. They concealed crucial information about the contract's perpetual nature and the mandatory inheritance of maintenance fees by my children. In 2013 we entered another contract with Diamond Resorts, they lied about the necessity of purchasing Hawaii Collection points to access Hawaiian resorts. This cost an additional $22,595. In 2016, the team in Dana Point exploited the situation to extract another$17,477 instead of making things right. In October 2022
